The Barn
Windham’s barn offers 5 star gold accommodation in one of the most beautiful areas of North Norfolk. The 6-bedroom property has been tastefully restored to a high standard to create a spacious, light filled home that offers a cosy and private haven for guests. With three separate seating areas inside and three terraces outside, there is plenty of space for large groups to relax. Attractions for children include swings, a tennis court, and woods to build dens.
The barn was originally built as a granary and cattle shed in 1846 by William Windham, then owner of nearby Felbrigg Hall. It is located at the heart of a historical farming estate that has belonged to the owner’s family for almost a century. There is a large enclosed mostly walled garden with two terraces accessed directly from the house through south facing sliding doors; tennis court and a wood and wildflower meadow.
